Can I change the role I selected when I created my account? (Student, Parent, Hobbyist, Etc.)

No, there's currently no way to change the role you selected when you created your account. This role, however, will not impact the courses or questions you have access to in any way, it will just affect what shows up in the "recommended" section of the courses page.
